Field Stewards Pilot
A pilot fellowship training researchers to become domain-specific "field stewards" using FrontierMap methodology. Fellows conduct supervised mapping exercises on domains of their choice, producing public-facing orientation resources. Requires a bachelor's degree plus a master's/PhD or 2+ years of post-bachelor's experience.

JOPRO supports emerging research projects through structured incubation. From ideation to execution, we help researchers and builders develop ambitious initiatives. If you have a project idea that aligns with JOPRO's mission, reach out.
2026 Update: Incubator submissions are currently filled, the next round of openings will be announced in May 2026.
Mentorship & Professional Development
Participants across JOPRO programs have access to reading groups, office hours, and peer feedback structures. These are integrated into the internship and fellowship experience rather than offered as standalone programs.
