Information Isometry Technique Reveals Organizational Features in Developmental Cell Lineages

Abstract

Lineage trees of embryonic development contain much subtle information about the embryogenetic process. The paper introduces an information isometry technique that extracts developmental data using binary classification and visualizes tree topology as isometric graphs, revealing organizational patterns in cell lineages.
