Abstract
This paper examines internal regulation through an enactivist lens, proposing 'Allostasis Machines' as a visual means to analyze interactions between internal states and technological environments in individuals and computational agents. It explores perturbation effects in both naturalistic and simulated settings, bridging allostatic regulation, complex systems, and human-computer interaction.
